Header File - Descriptors of the Raw binary data
LONI_Viz is a diverse viewer which reads
GZIPed or uncompressed
Net CDF,
MINC Net CDF,
DICOM
and RAW
(ANALYZE)
data files. For the latter, raw, files we allow various formats
for the header files describing the data. e.g., ANALYZE and
ASCII header files describing the data. It expects, however, that any
such header file descriptor has a name like myFile.hdr,
myFile.LHD,
myFile.lhd or myFile.header (Loni HeaDer). Moreover, for the
ASCII header files
the content of this file needs to contain, anywhere inside the file, lines
with the following delimeters:
volume=myFile.img
bits/pixel=8
x_dim=181
y_dim=217
z_dim=181
x_step=1.000000e+00
y_step=1.000000e+00
z_step=1.000000e+00
x_start=-90
y_start=-126
z_start=-72
The volume= delimeter is not necessary and bits/pixel=
can be replaced by data_type=.
